Elsweyr
What is Elsweyr? Just some far off land, south of Skyrim, from where Khajiit hail, or is it something more? Elsweyr once was a province of the Empire, yet now it is a region, divided into three different states with their own unique cultures and geography: Anequina, Pellitine and the Rim. From the humid fiercely independent mannish mountains of the Rim, through the wider Khajiiti arid landscapes of Anequina, to the Dominion influenced alien jungles of Pellitine, Elsweyr is a land packed to the brim with intrigue, history and contrast, where the only thing which matters above all else - sugar and blood.
In the shadow of empires
Divided now into three states, Elsweyr is no more. In the north, the kingdom of Anequina experiences its worst period yet, with the rise of unrest, waxing central authority and doubts of their future leanings. In the south, the kingdom of Pellitine stands stronger than ever, opulent in wealth, religious unity and power, enjoying the benefits of cooperation with the Dominion. Yet under the currents of prosperity, greed and corruption slowly festers.
All the while, in the far off north eastern mountains, the fiercely independent potentate of Rim, known for its ambition, stands unchecked and undominated. After a recent war of its own, the serpent is now coiled inwards. There is only one question on many Khajiit minds: how long will it last?
And while everyone's eyes are peeled up, those below work diligently to do what is needed to further their own goals. Ambition and intrigue. Sugar and blood.

Our pre-release
The Greater Rim is a pre-release for Beyond Skyrim: Elsweyr. The pre-release depicts the northern green region of the Greater Rim, which encompasses two contrastingly different cities of Riverhold and Rimmen with their respective stories. Riverhold, an Anquinan Khajiiti city with strong Imperial influences and past, while its present is slowly dwindling away, as the city is grasping for any aid it could receive, standing at the forefront of a possible Imperial assault.
In the meantime Rimmen, the capital of the fiercely independent Potentate of Rim, is stuck in its past. Powering themselves through "indebted servitude", the Rim's rulers look forward with a cunning and nostalgic gaze as the surrounding powers are interlocked in their own conflicts. Yet rumblings of the shellshock of the Great War and its after effects can still be felt in this region. It is up for the brave walkers to venture forth and learn what's going on in the shadows of the empires.

Beyond Skyrim: Elsweyr is always looking for new members! We are in great need of 3D modelers, specifically those versed in creating new creatures, to bring our Khajiit to life. Writers, implementors and concept artists are also needed. Please make sure to include examples of the discipline you are applying for in your portfolio. Any link sent should be available to browse without a login or password. If you are using sites like Google Drive, make sure the folder is set to "view with link". Websites like Pinterest and Instagram who require an account to view a page should be avoided.
